As a curtain maker with years of experience, I can guide you through your options. For example, curtain headings such as hand-sewn pinch pleats or eyelets, full length, sill length or overlong curtains, lined or interlined. You can also have your existing curtains altered, by arrangement.
Interlining your made-to-measure curtains will give them a truly luxurious look. They will also save on your energy bills by providing extra insulation.
A trimming such as pom poms or a contrast band can give a bespoke touch to handmade curtains, as well as add a pop of colour.
Curtain Maker: Measuring and Fitting Service
I offer a full measuring and fitting service. For example, at our first meeting, I will measure your windows and can help you choose your curtain design and select a fabric.
I can supply a range of tracks and poles to complete the finished look. These can be corded to ensure your made-to-measure curtains are easy to open and close. This is particularly useful for tall or bay windows in period properties with heavy curtains.
I work with a professional fitter to install your tracks and poles. He has years of experience and will ensure your curtains are fitted correctly, hang beautifully and look amazing.
