Curtain Maker in Edinburgh, Fife, St Andrews & Perthshire

Have you seen a picture of curtains in a magazine or do you need some help reaching a design choice? As a professional curtain maker, I can help you select the colours, fabrics and designs to create truly bespoke curtains for your windows.

And it doesn’t matter how unusual, large or challenging your windows are. Or if it’s a bow, bay or apex window. As one of Edinburgh, Fife & Perthshire’s best curtain makers, I’ll work with you to find a solution that suits your needs.

As a curtain maker with years of experience, I can guide you through your options. For example, curtain headings such as hand-sewn pinch pleats or eyelets, full length, sill length or overlong curtains, lined or interlined. You can also have your existing curtains altered, by arrangement.

Interlining your made to measure curtains will give them a truly luxurious look. They will also save on your energy bills by providing extra insulation.

A trimming such as pom poms or a contrast band can give a bespoke touch to hand made curtains, as well as adding a pop of colour.

And have you ever wished you could โ€œseeโ€ how your fabric choices could look in your finished room before you commit to ordering? Let me help you visualise with some clever design software.

Measuring and Fitting Service

I offer a full measuring and fitting service. For example, at our first meeting, I will measure your windows and can help you choose your curtain design and select a fabric.

I can supply a range of tracks and poles to complete the finished look. These can be corded to ensure your made to measure curtains are easy to open and close. This is particularly useful for tall or bay windows in period properties with heavy curtains.

I work with a professional fitter to install your tracks and poles. He has years of experience and will ensure your curtains are fitted correctly, hang beautifully and look amazing.
